“Life was easier when we had pay phones”. At my neighbor’s Halloween party, someone dressed as a pay phone, and someone else dressed as a quarter. I commented “life was easier when we had pay phones”. The pay phone commented “Yeah, there wasn’t always a screen you had to check”. The quarter kept trying to make a call.
“This year went faster than the last” my Old Girls Club friend said. But isn’t that what technology promises? Speed equals value. And social media equals value. But I am also grateful for my family and consciously putting my phone down. I don’t have the answer, as I am grateful for AI, can I even say both in the same sentence?
As we all run head long into Black Friday promotions and 2025, I am grateful for you. I am grateful for this time to stop and reflect. I am grateful for the Amazing Design People list, Fractionals United, OGC. All these commmunities and sales people who have helped me push through and who have been my deal source. Grateful for the most innovative clients. I am grateful to have everything I need, not more and not less, thanks to my 80K followers on Poshmark. Grateful we no longer have to pay for daycare though. Most of all, I am grateful for you! Thank you ;)
